Counseling

Provides free comprehensive services for victims of family violence (physical and mental/emotional abuse), child abuse and neglect, and elder mistreatment.  Diana Wells is a clinical nurse specialist and serves UNC Hospital patients only.  She helps people determine their options.

Offers 24 hour crisis telephone lines, help in arranging protective orders, shelter for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, and counseling.  All services are confidential and free of charge.

Provides low cost and pro bono legal assistance. Victims of domestic violence are typically referred through Interact.
